The
Problem With Testimonials
I
hate seeing testimonials on sites. And when a bad agency uses
testimonials as a way to prove that it is good, it is not better than a
good agency sucking customers in by the use of testimonials. Why do I
hate them? Here...
"I
first contacted Jim in 2003. I was corresponding with a Russian girl
and I thought everything was great. I found Jim's site and sent him a
letter. He quickly responded and gave me some advice. As a result of
this, I discovered that my girl had received money from other men and
was in fact a famous singer in Russia. Actually, she was a scammer who
had stolen the singer's photo. I am eternally grateful to Jim and I
would recommend him for anything help you need with Russian women."
What is wrong with this
testimonial? I WROTE IT!!!!
I am not saying that all
testimonials are fake, but how could you ever really know? Here is what
you need to know about understanding testimonials...
1. A testimonial without a
contact address should be ignored.
2. Even after contacting the
person, realize that maybe it was simply the office or the guy is still
head over heels in love - of course he is going to say good things;
rather than realistic things.
3. A testimonial should NOT
have anything to do with a guy finding a girlfriend or wife. If a guy
and girl were lucky enough to find each other, the agency is simply
lucky that the guy contacted her through their site. (She was probably
on many sites.)
4. A testimonial
should praise the services of the agency and their treatment of the
client. You could read 1,000 testimonials that state how happy the
couple is and there is not ONE word about the agency; except at the end
where the guy is happy with the agency. (Simply because he contacted
the girl through that agency.)
Here is what a good
testimonial should look like.
(Let's hope agencies don't see this and place fake testimonials on
their site after reading MY site.)
" I used Agency
REAL in 2003. Their help and services were second to none. They
listened to what I wanted. They answered my questions in a timely
fashion. I encountered a few scammers on their site, but they quickly
removed them. When I went to their city, they were very helpful with
the requests and needs that I had. They didn't push any services on me
and did not get upset when I declined their suggested services. I met a
few ladies, some good and some bad. No one that I would carry on a
lasting relationship with. So, although they could not introduce me to
the girl of my dreams, I will definitely use their services again and
would recommend anyone going to their city to use their
agency."
I don't care
how many marriages an agency has helped create, you can find a girl to
marry ANYWHERE. I care about how the agency performed while the guy was
looking for the girl. And so should you.
